Excellent Summer Term Team Meeting on Monday. Programme Planning and excellent refresher from Senior SLT Rhona, on Conversation Hints. Key points included ensuring Members steer the conversation, supporters ask open questions ‘how, why, when….’ Prompts ‘can you tell us more about that?’ Involving everyone ‘who agrees with that?’ Check understanding ‘have I got this right…?’ Make use of tools, maps, Member preparation, iPads, pictures etc… Don’t forget total communication skills write key words, draw and gesture, encouraging Members to do the same!
